ABOUT POLE LINE CONTRACTORS

A NEVADA-BASED CONTRACTOR FOR POWER INFRASTRUCTURE WORK.

We build and support power infrastructure for projects across our eight-state footprint.

POLE LINE CONTRACTORS, INC. NEVADA-BASED · SERVING EIGHT STATES

WHO WE ARE

Pole Line Contractors, Inc. is a professional electrical contractor based in Nevada. Hard work, technical knowledge, and hands-on field experience shape how we approach power infrastructure construction.

Our work spans distribution and transmission lines, substations, underground trenching, and fiber optic and phone infrastructure. We bring the practical knowledge of building these systems to both our construction work and our consulting support.

THE WORK WE DO

Our work includes distribution lines from 5 kV to 34.5 kV, transmission lines from 60 kV to 230 kV, and substations from 1 MVA to 100 MVA, alongside underground systems and power line, trolley, and substation consulting.

FIELD EXPERIENCE IN THE CONVERSATION

THE WORK HAS TO MAKE SENSE ON PAPER AND IN THE FIELD.

Power infrastructure work starts long before a crew arrives on site. A project has to be estimated, bid, supplied, planned, and built in the field. Pole Line brings construction and project-management experience into those early conversations so owners, engineers, and project teams can talk through the practical side of the work.

That same field perspective carries across distribution and transmission lines, substations, underground systems, and fiber and phone infrastructure. It also informs the company’s power line, trolley, and substation consulting work.

OVER 40 YEARS IN THE INDUSTRY

SPENCER PORTER

Spencer Porter brings more than 40 years of experience in the power line and electrical industry. His background combines operations leadership with technical, administrative, and project management responsibilities.

For the past 27 years, Spencer has worked in project estimating, bidding, material procurement, and construction management across the western United States. That experience connects the early decisions about scope and materials with the day-to-day realities of construction.

At Pole Line Contractors, Spencer draws on his power line and substation construction experience to support planning and consulting work in collaboration with electrical engineers.

POWER LINE, TROLLEY & SUBSTATION CONSULTING

Spencer’s consulting work includes power line design and trolley systems. Working with electrical engineers, he brings practical field and substation construction experience into the planning process.

This construction perspective supports discussions about how a system will be built, from materials and procurement to work in the field. Our consulting support complements the electrical engineer’s design responsibilities; it does not replace the engineer of record.

SPENCER’S TROLLEY SYSTEM BACKGROUND

EXPERIENCE THAT INFORMS A SPECIALIZED CONVERSATION.

Spencer’s background includes work in Australia and Chile supporting trolley-system development, along with involvement in the construction and maintenance of the first trolley system in the United States.

That experience is part of why Pole Line can have a more informed conversation when a project involves trolley systems, power lines, or substations. It brings the field-construction side of the work into the discussion alongside the project team and electrical engineer.

Spencer’s professional experience extends beyond Pole Line’s current eight-state service footprint.

OUR COMMITMENT TO SAFETY

Safety is our first responsibility. It is central to how we approach electrical construction and the work our crews undertake in the field.

Our crews start with daily equipment inspections and daily team risk assessments before work begins. Weekly toolbox meetings and monthly company meetings keep safety in the conversation as the work moves forward.
