Consulting
Spencer Porter has spent more than 40 years in the power line and electrical industry, including 27 years leading estimating, bidding, material procurement and construction management on projects across the western United States. He consults with owners and engineers who want construction experience applied to a project before it's built.
WHY THIS CONVERSATION IS DIFFERENT
At Pole Line Contractors, Spencer specializes in power line design and trolley-system consulting. His background includes project estimating, bidding, material procurement, and construction management, so the conversation can account for the practical realities of how a power line, trolley, or substation project will be built.
This is construction-side input for owners, engineers, and project teams that want to work through a question before field work moves forward.

TROLLEY SYSTEM EXPERIENCE
Spencer is a trolley specialist. His experience includes work in Australia and Chile supporting trolley-system development, as well as involvement in the construction and maintenance of the first trolley system in the United States.
Pole Line uses that experience to discuss trolley-system planning and maintenance strategy for industrial and transit systems. The conversation can also account for the power line and substation work connected to the larger project.
Spencer’s professional experience extends beyond Pole Line’s current eight-state service footprint.
Spencer works alongside your electrical engineer. Consulting doesn't replace the engineer of record or stamped design.
